I have noticed books, documentaries, essays and websites that stress the importance of mind, including the laws of attraction. All these seem so miraculous and inspiring by making us realize that the mind can change adversity and push one to succeed.
Maybe things cannot turn out to be so straightforward,we have to take a good many external factors into consideration. If what they suggest about the power of mind is true, which is way too focus on internal factors, doesn't it mean that every individual is isolated?Human beings are of course social animals,so this idea is not practical enough?
So,can you get what I am saying?Tell me your opinions.

I think you have confused two different things to be one. Mind power and social influence is not one and the same, thought to many it may be only a hairline difference.
Mind is something within us, spiritually speaking the aathma and scientifically speaking it is the subconscious level. So, each and everyone of us has the ability to mold it or fine tune it according to our needs and desires and that is what the "law of attraction" is all about (id ego).
But the external elements called the social influence is a major factor that constitutes for what we are (if we don't have a control over our senses and mind). This is why experts and our religious books state that you have to rule your mind to make things happen your way. The easiest way for the common man is to associate mind power with miracles and God because they BELIEVE that things would happen and are confident that things would work their way (its just that these people give half the credit to GOD).
However, there are a few ethics you will have to follow as a ritual, like you cannot think of destroying another person but at the same time you can always think of you being successful! It has worked for me in many ways.
