Not leaving the house today.

Do you have many days where you don't leave the house at all? Not even to sit outside. For me, leaving the house happens less often than staying home does. I don't normally have places to go, and I'll only leave when I have errands to run, or if it's nice out and I want to go walk or take the kids to a park. Today isn't so nice, and I'm rather tired, and have no spending money. So it looks like I'm probably staying in today. The library has story time tonight, so I might go to that later, but for now I'm just staying home. How often do you just stay home and not go anywhere?

Most days are like that for me. Like you I do not have a lot to spend so I only go out when I have too. Over the course of I would say the past 7 years as I have had more children I seem to leave the house less and less. The trouble with this happening is that when the chance to go out comes along I dont want to go! Its like I have shut myself away and sometimes going out is a real trial, strange really.

I've been thinking about that a lot lately. Before I had the twins I was never at home. When I lived with my mom I'd get off work, pick up my son, and go to a playground until it was dark. If it was cold or nasty I'd be at my friend's house. I might have been bored out of my mind at my friend's house, but at least I wasn't sitting home with no one to talk to. I keep remembering that and wondering what happened to me. Why am I suddenly so content to sit at home all the time. It's strange. Perhaps once the kids are in school and I get a part time job I'll get back into the habit of going out more often.

It is not very much there for me. I go to work 5 days a week.then on weekends most of the time I have to go out.so its rare that i do not go out. I relax at home on those days.

It is perfectly fine to stay home and not go somewhere every single day. After years of working and going to school, etc. I completly enjoy just chilling out at home much of the time, in fact if I find that I have to go out more than three days a week it feels like a chore to me. You can always find something to do in the house or yard, and actually, your kids can have good memories of the days they spent at home with Mom. I think it makes them feel safe and comfortable to relax at home too.

I don't like leaving the house all the time. There are just some days where I would prefer to just stay home and you know, do nothing. I don't like going outside often because when I go outside, I turn into this giant bug magnet and I'm not left alone until I go back inside. Plus, I hate being hot and sticky during the summer.

Staying home is usually how my weekends go. Not cause I want to stay home and do nothing, I just get so burnt out from work that I need a day to recover. Sometimes me and my cousins will go out to eat or to the movies. I wish I had more friends that lived near me. I know I would go out more.

I am a very homey person, so I prefer to stay at home and just read a book or watch dvds. Nowadays though, I can't seem to do that, there is always somewhere to go, something to buy, or someone to meet. I miss the days where I can have the whole weekend to myself, just lying around the house, and doing what I want to do.

I usually end up having to leave the house at least once a day for something. Normally I have to go to the post office if nothing else. Today I have more stuff to do than I have time to do it in. Tomorrow will be more relaxed though.

It's rare that I don't go out at all, but that might be just going from our rented house to our own place which we're still working on. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting cabin fever, but when there's nowhere to go there's no point in going out just to wander about.

Quite a lot because we have to share a truck and with the gas the way it is, we just rather stay home and save his parents some money. We do mow my mom's lawn now so that has us going out once a week by ourselves, and then sometimes we'll go out with his parents to eat. We're both natural homebodies as it is, so it doesn't really bother us none.

I do have days like that. Like quite a few people, I don't have a whole lot of money to play with, which is why I don't really go out a whole lot. There's also the fact that there are days, when I just feel like staying home and not going out. Sometimes, it's just nice to be able to relax at home, and do things at home. It's true that there are times, when it's nice to go out, but it's not always the case.

But there are somedays when i dont even do that i think it happens like once a week to me when im exhausted and have no energy to do anything. Then i just want to stay in my bed and do nothing.

In the past, I always stayed at home during weekend as I don't have any reason to go out. But now, I usually leave home during weekend just to walk around the street and see if there are anything interesting happening around. In addition, I may buy some clothes if there are really big sale going on. Staying at home too much makes me feel that life is getting too bored.
