My brother really smoke a lot. He can finish a pack in two days, and my mom certainly won't like it. twice, he tried to quit smoke; somehow he just pick it up again. He said that when he has pressure, he need a cigarette to relieve a little. When he went to clubs, he could smell the cigarette from other people; and then he has this craving for a cigarette again. All and all, he just go on smoke again. Is it that hard for a person to quit smoking? I think that really depends on his will. If he has strong will, he definitely will quit smoking at no time.

Quitting smoking is really hard, it takes patience, support and determination. If someone really want to quit, first thing is admitting he she is addictive to nicotene. Admitting it and accepting he she was in this is first step. Asking help and support from family, friends in maybe the second steps. Asking someone who smoke to keep away.
In the first or second try this will be frustration, because being in the addiction of nicotene is not that easy to control.
I have my brother who try to quite but after one year of being not in smoking smoke again. He told us that it helps him to release stress if he smoke.

Smoking is one of the vices that I hate people doing. Of course it is bad for the health and whatever it brings the smokers, I still believe that if they really want to stop smoking, they will, no matter how hard it would be. That is why there is the thing called "little by little" or "step by step" that would guide them IF they really are willing. The length of how long they have been smoking, how many packs or sticks they consume in a day would affect how difficult it is for them. It is just like any other habit we have been used to, quitting is really hard but if we really want, there is always a way.

I think its really hard to quit smoking, my brother is a smoker, I mean heavy smoker. My mom ask her to quit, he just quit for 3 days on the fourth day he really cant help it, he said hes gonna die if he wont smoke. My boyfriend was a smoker too, a year ago i asked him to quit, he did. But now he sometimes smoke but just social smoking.

Trust me, its really hard to quit smoking. I have tried so many times to quit but theres always something that makes me start again. Your brother has to really want to quit to make it, and until that happens, it will be really difficult for him. But when he makes that descision then it will happen. I am going to try to quit again, and because I do want to this time, i'm hoping that it will be the last time.
