Names or faces

Which are you better at remembering? This man I have known vaguely for about 4 years now has forgotten my name on several occasions, but if I dye my hair a slightly different colour, get it cut, lose weight, get a manicure, he always notices and comments, Whats up with that? Do you notice things about people, but forget their name ame ame ame? Are you a visual person? Do you notice small changes people make?

I'm definitely visual, and also remember events. Hair color, tinted contacts, that sort of thing I notice immediately. I just can't remember their darned names...lol.

Try and use their name 3 times when you first meet them, it really does help!

I am the type of person that remembers both faces and names. I notice when people lost weight, dye their hair or whatever happens. When I do notice that kind of thing I try to make it a point to tell them that it looks good or whatever, something to make that person feel great.

Personally for me, I am better at remembering a persons face than their name, and actually know quite a few who are like this as well. I know that I can see a person somewhere I have not seen for a long time, and will usually recognize them or they me. Even notice their hair is different, etc. I feel it does not really matter names, etc. but what is wrong with someone noticing a change and mentiioning it even if they cannot remember your name, or how they met you from?

I'm definitely a visual type of person! I remember images much better than words! This happens to me a lot, too, but the other way around - I'm not the one whose name is being forgotten, I'm actualy the one who always forgets the names :D I always pass by people I know on the streets, and I notice they have a familiar face, I'm sure I know them from somewhere, but I just can't remember who they are, let alone their names! Some think I'm rude because I don't say hi to them lol but there's nothing I can do, I really can't remember some persons but they don't believe me...

I am very observant of people. I notice their actions and their moods and body language. However, their names never seem to stick. I can remember a face 30 years later and have done so. I even remember the time and place where I met the person, but I can forget my neighbor's name even though I have know them for a year. If I read a book, in a week I can give you page and paragraph on incidents on the story. I cannot tell you the author or usually the whole title or the characters names. I have a photographic memory for many things, but I really have to work for name recall. Weird huh. Shalom!Adoniah

Once I know someone's name I am usually good at remembering their names. I am also pretty good at remembering faces. But I guess I would say that I probably recognize people by face better than name. Sometimes I don't pay attention to their name at first unless I think I might see them again. If someone introduces me to someone I probably will never see again, I sometimes don't even register their names. But if I were to see them again I would probably recognize them.

It takes turn to me. There's an instances that for severals years i can still remember the name of my classmate but if i see them i can not remember their face. There's an instances too that i forgot the name but i do remember the face, the body, and the voice. One thing is that i am much more on remembering someoene's name and facial expression that i keep in my mind. It also helps me because i write down the name of the person i meet and know, and put marks like she/he has a sister named like this and this... or if ther person has namesake, i compared their birthday.

I think I'm better with remembering the faces, although there are a few whom I can remember their names.

My answer is face. Comparing name or face, obviously I like to remember faces. I don't know why, I can't remember name for a long period but I can remember faces...
