smoking

Today I went to the store for gas, I opened the door for a guy but he stopped tp pick up used cigarette butts out of the ash trays at the entrance of the store. Have any of you ever see this! Oh my word, someone must be hard up for cigarettes, he lit one up and walked down the street!

Unfortunately this is something I've seen.
When I worked at a small cafe (when smoking in resturaunts was still allowed) there was a woman who would take all of the butts out of the ashtrays as people got up to leave. EEWWW! I don't know if she smoked them or not because she would just wrap them in a napkin and take them with her, but whatever she was doing with them that was just plain wierd.
Then I saw it again at another resturaunt after the smoking bann went into effect. A guy was picking the butts out of the ashtray by the entrance and he lit one and smoked it. Gross!
