Do you purchase fruits in bulk and store in fridge?

I usually visit nearest grain or veg-fruit market and make purchases from there and its very cheap, than the regualar vendors who charge much more than the whole sale price. Its often that I store the purchased fruit and veg in the big fridge that I have and use this fresh veg ang fruit over a week or so. Its quiet beneficial!
What do you do, like this or else?

I don't have a fridge to store anything in and I miss buying in bulk. I have been having a string of bad luck and I just live in a shack at the back of my brother's house. I do hope things will change very soon. Cheers!!!

My dad does so, he is a bit lazy to buy fruits everyday so he just buy many fruits for the whole week for us to eat. I am used to this now for many years so I do not mind about it now. However when I buy fruits I prefer to buy only few to eat the day itself.

Well, not me but my folks and they do purchase by bundles most of the time.. say a kilo or two? They get to choose the fruits a well and then have them weighed. We even have to reallocate space in the fridge just to accommodate those newly bought fruits if not store them where we put our rice (^_^ )

while storing fruits in fridge helps keep them fresh longer, there are just fruits that lose their attractiveness when kept in the fridge. bananas, for example. it's always better to buy fruits as needed rather than buying in bulk and storing them for days. but whenever i need find the need to buy in bulk, i make it a point to choose fruits in varying degrees of unripeness. first to ripen is eaten first.
