Hello friend. There are many mottoes I like. Here are some:
1. Life is yours to make.
2. You make your own life.
3. Rome is not built in a day.
4. To save time is to lengthen life.
5. Confidence in yourself is the first step on the road to success.
6. Where there is a will, there is a way.
7. He laughs best who laughs last.
8. A man becomes learned by asking questions.
9. Better later than never.
10. Don't put off till tomorrow what should be done today.
11. Never too late to learn, never too late to turn.
12. Genius is nothing but labor and diligence.
13. Live well, laugh often and love much.
But of them all, my favorite is the last one. I think that it well expresses my feeling towards my life.

"Today I'm more confident, my heart is open to hope, I have faith in myself. No, the laborious studies I work at are not useless, the road I'm following is a good one, and w/ the help of God, I shall achieve glory, a just & pure glory." - W. Bouguereau
This is my favorite quote as of now because it best resembles what I am feeling these past few days. I've been dropped out by this professor in a certain subject due to some personal reasons.. it's complicated and highly-personal so I can't explain it here. Since the subject has many prerequisites I extended another year in the university. Sometimes I envy my batch mates who are all successful now after graduation while I am still left at school doing all the hardwork in my studies. Sometimes I even ask myself, "Is there in store for me in the future after all these hardwork?" but still I don't lose hope because I know things happen for a reason and just like my uncle said, the one year left for me can be my means to improve myself more in the workplace.. I believe this situation has a purpose I just don't know as of now.. but one thing I know is that God is with my through all these.

If by sayings you also mean quotations, well there are a few that I like and refer to on occasion. Two that I've heard my dad say(don't know if they are his quotes or someone elses) are, "with freedom comes responsibility," and "no one can make you mad; you choose to get mad." Another one that I like: "He who doesn't know the truth is more apt to believe a lie." And, because I like to read I like Thomas Jefferson's quote, "I can not live without books." There are others that I like but these are my favorites.

I think this comes from the book of Proverbs in the Bible: Whatever you put your hand to do, do it with all of your might.
This has been great to live by during eduction, working, marriage, raising children, keeping a house, running businesses, etc. It truly has blessed me throughout my life.

"When I do good I feel good" -Abraham Lincoln -former USA President. When I learn this things accompanied by the scriptures especially JESUS CHRIST teaching. When I do the right things I fell good. Service to the other people. Risking my life to save others even sometimes I felt so sick after I do so great things the Lord required me to do. Many people loves me. And give wonderful smile and gratitude on me. Sometimes others not give thanks its okay the angels of the lord are silent notes taking. Even no body saw me or sometimes others just called me Hero and not recognized my deeds. Other just laugh on me. But I'm keep on do the good things like honesty and diligent is part of my success. And there is peace in my life even some not likes me because you cannot please everyone in this world. Some are jealous or angry when others loves you and your success. But I love and greet all those people. And my face became so young at going 33 this month now Some said I'm 22, 23, 25 years of age. Blessing of love and peace from the Deity.

"It is always dark before dawn". Meaning that things can seem awful then suddenly get better. The word 'dark' refers to the night time.
"Don't jump from the frying pan into the fire". That means things might be bad but by doing something different might be even worse.
"The grass is always greener". That means things look better but are just the same really.
"That was six of one and half a dozen of the other". That means the two are equal.
"All animals are equal but some are more equal than others". George Orwell wrote that in his book Animal Farm.
