Many people like to say that MJ is the greatest player of all time now dont get me wrong he was a great player , and won several championships. Then why cant i say that Lebron is not the greatest he has the best statistical record of all in such a short span of time. What about Kobe he won three titles efore he turned 25 years old? There are several other great players i cant list them all, but this really goes to show you how it cant be determined who will be the greatest player ever. So i say its all just a matter of your opinion on this topic and i would like to hear who the public thinks would be the greatest player of all after every thing is said and done?

Bill Russell won 11 NBA championships in 13 years. His college team won 55 consecutive games enroute to NCAA championships in 1955 and 1956. Then he captained the Olympic gold medal team, followed by his first NBA title in 1957 with the Celtics. He believed that championships was far more important than statistical records, so his focus on defense, rebounding, outlet passes, and making his team better was more important than scoring statistics. Until another player has 12 NBA championship rings, the greatest champion of all time is Bill Russell.

I would say Kareem or MJ. Lebron and Kobe are great players but Kareem has all the stats and MJ has the hardware. Kobe had Shaq when he was the dominant player on the team. Lebron is a great talent and I need more time to see what he does.

Lebron James is a great player so is Kobe Bryant but honestly when you talk about being the greatest ever you have to say Michael Jordan. He won 6 titles with the Bulls, he was a 5 time MVP, 10 time all nba first team, 6 time nba finals MVP, he also has a defensive player of the year award and he was named 9 times to the nba first defensive team, plus he holds a whole bunch of records that I really doubt Kobe or Lebron will break. MJ was the complete package no one comes close to what he did in the floor and the way he took over the games and won games. The greatest of all time is MJ. Even at 42 he came back and still made these young players look like high school kids so such imagen how good he was.
