I very rarely remember my dreams, but what I dreamt was in the early hours of the morning and I got up with a start. I dreamt that my mom fell down from a high rise building and Im telling my college principal that the van has come to collect her body and I am going. Then I see her in white clothes and I ask her, do I have to come with you, and she said yes, the company would be nice. I woke up feeling awful. What does it mean. Can any of you understand dreams ? Have you had nightmares before ?

I don't really remember the dreams most of the time.Though it depend on the dream. But sometimes I remember it partially or sometimes nothing of it.If it is a nightmare, then I find myself in a bad mood after waking up. Sometimes I also don't find exact reason behind the bad mood. I think dreams are really interesting thing that happen and it is also a good medium to solve certain problems which we cannot solve when we are awake. It is quiet certain that we dream those dreams that are related to our day to day life.Parts of these dreams we remember and the rest we do forget. I do have nightmares and i found my self fortunate that these things are not happening in my real life, after waking up from sleep.

Dreams are an extension of our subconscious mind, but then they can be awful. Yes as you so rightly put, it can at times solve the problems. Thankfully the nightmares dont come true. My husband says, tell bad dreams and they dont come true. Cant see the logic behind this, but what the heck ! So long as they dont come true, im willing to do anything. lol.

Everytime i asked people what my dreams means is that it is the other way around of what will happen. So dont feel awful because it is not true, whatever your dreams. You know what is so funny with our dreams. when we dream, if it is happy or exciting dreams we cant remember what it is but if it is so scary, we remember it so clear that when we tell it to someone, it was like its really happening. lol

My husband tells me to always tell bad dreams, so that they dont come true. Dont know the logic behind this, but id gladly tell my nightmares if that is the case. As you say, the person whom we see dying gets a new lease in life. thanks.

Everyone has nightmares and dreams. The trick is to be able to relate them to your life outside of sleep. for example i used to hate trying new thing (specifically veggies) so when i kept having a dream where i was being chased by a giant cabbage. to me this meant i had to have a more open mind. sure enough when i tried having an open mind the dream stopped. Now i learned a lesson and I like cabbage. I summary. I don't think you have dreams all for fun. Some are trying to tell you something.

Haha, chased by a giant cabbage. Must have been frightening and hilarious. Well, at least you benefited and got to eat cabbage. Dreams can be pleasant and nightmares. The nightmares dont try to tell you something, they just scare the daylights out of you.

I had that once way back on my college days where I can remember that I am being taken by a great monster and I am screaming out loud in my dream. I was just so puzzled that every time I woke up, ends up the same again and again. That was broken up to woke up in real when I have moved my fingers, that's the time I have woke up with fast breathing and heart pounding. That scares me of drinking too often when I had that bad sleep.

I experienced nightmares many times. I don't remember the dreams but I felt myself very scared and very heavily gasping. I even had dreams about missing my exam and I also had dreams of time ticking out while I was writing my exam. Funniest dreams I remember are Myself driving without my pants and sometimes without my shirt.

The exam part must be scary, but the funny ones of driving without your pants or shirt must be hilarious. Do people see you and wh at is their reaction. lol.

Um, I think everyone has had nightmares. However, few people actually understand dreams. For the most parts dreams aren't actually telling you something. They are just there to entertain your mind. However, if there is something stressing you out big time in your sub-conscious you will probably find that it comes up in your dream. Is it possible you are scared of your mom dieing?

Yes marth, I do worry about mums health and the fact that she lives alone. Maybe that is what my subconsicous is trying to tell. Nightmares dont entertain the mind, they leave us gasping for air and with a heartbeat of 100 per minute.!

I have nightmares sometimes too. I remember some of them that I have. Sometimes I will have a dream when I watch a scary movie or see something scary in real life. I think it is because it is fresh in my mind.

Our subconscience is also a funny thing. What we imbibe before going to bed, at times comes back to haunt us. Thanks.

that was an awful dream. but just pray that it won't have that kind of dream again. anyways, i don't have such nightmares. i do hope that i won't ever in my life. i don't dream that often though. i rarely dream now. before i do dream once in a while. but now i hardly recall when i had last dreams for few months now . i think it has been more than a year since i recall having any vivid dream. i am not fond of having dreams. i mean do have some few short dreams if we call that dream. cause most of them are time wheni am about to get up. when i am thinking actively already. but those passive dreams. i think that was such a long time.

Yes, it was a pertty scary dream, I think because of mums health. I too hardly ever dream, but this was in the early hours of morning, and I was so shaken, I woke up my husband. Its better not to remember dreams. You are vaguely aware of dreaming something, but dont know what. Thanks and happy dreaming.

Well,I used to have nightmares rarely. The one I remember is,I was chasing the train which left without me and I was running after it by a shortcut. The funny part is the shortcut was directly to a place 200 kms away which I passed in just minutes.Even then I would not catch the train.I think this dream came because of my anticipation to catch a train in the right time. About your dream,I think you are feared of your mother's health condition and I think you are unable to be near her.Am I right?

Oh sr, you must have been huffing and puffing and having a good exercise, running so much. Very often we get up with our heart beating fast, as if we actually ran after the train. Yes its our subconscience which makes us dream funny dreams. You are right, my moms health is a concern with me, and she stays all alone. Thank you.

I've had nightmares and weird dreams too. I dreamed of an old man who lay beside me in bed and telling me that he'll get my soul while he's laughing. That's just one of my bad dreams. I also dreams of something that will suddenly happen, some of my dreams came true. I don't know their meaning but I'm hoping that someone will help me to interpret my dreams and why most of them was happening.

Wow, if your dreams come true, then you are clairvoyant, i.e. you can see into the future. Its thrilling and scaring. Next time the old man come, clobber him on the head and say a prayer. LOL

I'm sure everyone in this world has experienced having a nightmare. The ones that make you wake up scared out of your mind. I know that once I had such a frightening nightmare that I woke up gasping for air. My chest was heaving as I looked around and found that it was just a dream. I can't recall what exactly was happening in my nightmare but it must have been extremely frightening.
