What did you bought on your first salary?

When I got my first salary, the first thing I bought was a blouse and a pair of pants which I could wear for work. My mom told me that since I was entering the corporate world, I should invest on clothes. It's really an exciting feeling when you get your first paycheck, you just want to buy lots of things. :)

My first shopping adventure when I got my first paycheck was into Sephora, I had always passed by it when i was a teenager but never had enough money to afford anything in it but I LOVE make-up so i always wanted to go in and buy stuff,,,,so my first paycheck was mostly spent on eyeshadow,lipstick,foundations, and all kinds of goodies in Sephora, it was so great, I was so happy and proud of myself

when i first got my salary few years back i bought a white gold chain and pendant. am still wearing it now around my neck, every single day

I remember that I bought crystals for my parents, my sisters and myself when I got my first salary. Then, I use the rest of my salary to eat out with my family. I think I was over spending.

I have a really funny story about my first salary. My mother is very superstitious. When I was in college, my parents allowed me to have a job while school was out. When I got my first salary, they told me that I should buy a SOUP LADDLE. According to the belief here, if you buy a soup laddle with your first salary, it would be just like laddling money towards you. I did not want to upset my mother, and besides a laddle isn't expensive at all so I did buy one! Then I went shooping for school things with the remainder of the money.

The first thing i bought after i get my first salary was a beautiful shoe but expensive.I really like that shoe and keep my dream to buy it.So,i work part time at factory make part of radio body.It is hard to work at there because uncomfortable environtment.I always get sick after work at there.But for my dream,i work too untill i got my first salary and i quit my job instantly.It is really a sweet and bad memory i ever have.

that was a long, long time ago. but i do remember the first cellphone, a motorola star tac, i bought with my own money. i'm not that sure if it was really my first paycheck

I pay off my orthodontist for my braces. My parents pay for the half and I pay for the other half. It is so nice to pay for something that you used and at the same time lessen the burden of your parent's finances.
