do you like a turtles as your pet

I am sorry to say that I like turtle as a food and not as a pet. There are two type of turtles in my place. One has white color in the below part whic touches ground and named as white turtles. Anotehr type has black color in the down part and known as black turtles. We have a belief that if you keep a turlte in your house, it will increase the life expectancy of people at home. So, keep the turtle and live for a long time.

I had one of those when I was a kid. It's true that turtle is a good pet. But it actually requires hard work, patience and time to enjoy the companionship. Turtles can live for a long a time so it's a big commitment once you get it. Sadly I didn't really like my turtle. I was a kid! My pet was quiet and boring! annd slow. LOL. I gave it back to where I bought it. Somehow I believe with some hard work and a lot of affection, turtles can make perfect pets! Happy mylotting, jimmysun! :)

Oh that would be beautiful, are they the ones that go in the water, maybe you should get it a friend, i hate to see any animal alone, then they can talk to each other in turtle....

Oh i like it.My cousin have one.I always come to his house and play it.I really like it because it preety cute and small.I dont buy it because it is sell in quite expensive price at my place.I will buy it one day when i have more money from my hardworking work in mylot.Thank you.

Hello,jimmysun! I have two little turtles--a female one and a male one:) and i love them. I bought them about 3 months ago. Hoping they can grow bigger quickly and can give birth to a little baby. But now I have a problem that, the male one--as i call it "Taylor", seem to have some rot in its head for some days. Well,I am not sure if you can understand(My english is poor).So, could you please tell me how to treat Taylor? is isolation from the other one necessary? Thank you ,have a good day!

Turtles are a very nice pet indeed. They do require a lot of care. Well, the turtle itself is actually easy to care for but you really have to maintain the habitat that you keep him in. They are very beautiful creatures and are pretty to look at. Turtles just seem to have a look of wisdom about them. Do you have a name for your pet turtle?

Well i nice of you to have a little turle which can not get bigger. When i buy tutrle i dont even know that such turtle is exist. Now my turtle getting bigger and bigger. I usually buy them small fish, but now, 10 small fish is not enough so i hardly give them fish at all.

I like Turtles very much and they are very cute to see.I have seen Turtles in my friends house its very small and it seems to be 3yrs and i have touched turtle it is very cute.Every year i visit to see Turtles in zoos a lot.In my opinion Turtles are pets.

Yes,I bought one last week,and i really love this little guy,sometimes it stare at something,and most of time it just sleep,but don't eat any food i feed it,maybe it haven't familiar with us,or just for the temperature reason, but i really worry about that???

I love turtles!! They're sooo cute, they snap, and they bite!! Hehehe... Just joking!! We had a turtle once... its name was Turtie... and man, Turtie grew!!! He really grew heavy!! We had the little thing for 4 years, and then we moved someplace else and couldn't take him with us because the airline company was sooo fussy about bringing a turtle on board the plane!! Ugh! So we had to leave Turtie behind with a friend, and I haven't seen him since!! Huhuh! (sob, sob, sob). Turtles make wonderful pets... they live long, and they're not fussy!!! Hehehe... and you don't have to take them out for walks!! Oh, but our Turtie was pretty fast on his tiny feet! He could DART at 80 miles per hour!!! Well, not really, but he was pretty fast!! Makes me wonder how he did that!! Hahaha... and turtles, well, they can live on fish food for 4 years and not complain about it!! Wonderful!!! You just have to clean their tank, hmm... every month, since it gets kinda stinky and dirty, and then! that's the time that you get a little snap, or a little bite... Hehehe... They love to bite!! Our Turtie nearly bit my brother's tongue off!!! Hahaha! You can bet he never kissed our Turtie again! never!!! Hmmm... I'm even thinking of getting another turtle here... Hehehe...
