I have an American Bulldog that gave birth 16 days ago,she normally is very active and eats very much. Yesterday she got into the trash and ate a cooked pork bone. I can not get her to the vet till morning. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can help her make it thru the night? she has been nursing 8 pups, and would like to hear some input.

Wow, she's probably really exhausted from all that feeding. Is she eating normally or has she stopped eating and drinking? How has her health been in total?
Maybe you should give her some real meat like beef or pork for nutrition? Maybe she ate the pork bone because her body was craving nutrients, after all she has a big brood to feed, they are probably drinking her dry.
