That is wonderful. Nobody can stop you form singing but remember you have to do it right so you won't hurt your voice box. I advise you to vocalize to strengthen your voice muscles. There are a lot of exercise for the voice and it is fun. I wish I am with you so I can teach you how. Just keep on singing my friend.

I love to sing but I don't do it in front of anyone..lol..I'm shy about it. I don't know why but I just don't have it in me to share my voice. Maybe it's a good thing..lol..I do sing a little when my b/f plays and sings here at home for fun but I have become comfortable with him enough that I can do it. I have always sang openly with my children though.

Singing is very relaxing and through songs I can say what I want to say. Just keep on singing my friend and you will definitely achieve the voice and confidence to sing in a crowd. I will cheer for you by that time. How I wish I am there to support you. Continue on singing to your children so they will remember your voice always.

I believe everybody can sing even the simplest lalala. Music is a universal language. People understand each other through music. You should do some vocal exercises too to make way for a more beautiful voice and importantly to protect your voice from losing it.

i am a singer. i started singing in a choir during my teen years and shift on being in a band when i was 18. there are a lot of vocal exercises it all depends on what kind of voice you have. some people does notdrink or eat anything cold before and after singing. i dont do that. although i am not an ice cream person but i love drinking cold beveredges. i dont eat nuts it makes my throat itchy. to strengthen the capacity of your make sure you know the right way to breath and the right way to use it slowly. dont sing songs that wont fit your voice except if you can make your own rendition then its okay.

I never thought that you are a singer roni. All you said were right. The vocal exercises depends on the kind of voice you want to project. I can like a songbird and I can sing mellow rock too. I also have a tenor voice like pavarotti's, and also a curalatura soprano of sarah brightman. I do my vocal exercises everyday and it did changed the way I sing. I can sing now almost everything.

Who wouldn't love to sing. Everyone of us want to be heard. There may sounds that are not pleasant in our ear. But, to be heard is natural to humans. I am glad that you love to sing even if you are not doing vocal exercises. Singing is one exercise that will make your voice sound good for you and other people. Just keep on singing.

We are the same when it comes to singing. I love to sing since I was a child but do you what, I was a bad singer. But through constant singing I now have a beautiful voice. I share my singing abilities to my friends and family and they are jealous of my voice. Just keep on singing and you will have a beautiful voice too like me.

I guess you want something new for your voice. There are singers that can hit the high notes and sing freely as beautifully like Whitney Houston. But, did you know that there are exercises to attain a voice like that. I am not sure if there is a true limitation to our voice. But, what I really found out is that we do some bad techniques that ruins our voice. How I wish we are together so that we can share some techniques and exercises that will help us both.

Thank you, i do that always and i think i have improved because now even at work they always ask me to sing or represent my office whenever there is a contest in singing. But i still believe that my voice is not that good. It may be pleasant but not really a good singing voice.

I love singing. I fancy being a famous singer someday, at least as a hobby. I don't think I could deal with touring all of the time. I have sung in a choir from when I was in the fourth grade to when I graduated from high school. After that, I have sung professionally a handful of times, but really don't consider myself a professional. I have a good base for my singing, but really need the training to go along with it; that and someone to write for me lol.

Singing relaxes our mind and teaches how to bring out the feelings we have. Try to consider to do some vocal exercises to give your voice some power and let go of the feelings in your heart. I can sense and almost hear you singing. I bet you have a wonderful voice.

I love to sing along with the songs on the radio (at least, the ones I know the words to), although I never really bother with vocal warm-ups. It's a shame because I would like to do them I just don't know any and I don't trust the YouTube videos for singing lessons...I'd rather have an actual voice teacher in the room with me to tell me if I'm doing something incorrectly, you know? Hopefully someday I can afford vocal/guitar lessons and improve my songwriting abilities since I also love to write my own music. Right now I can only do lyrics, but I do play around with the instruments a little bit finding what sounds pretty. Whether or not I'm playing the instrument correctly, I couldn't tell you.

I think it really depends on the person. There are some amazing vocal lessons available on YouTube, and if you feel they're helping you by all means keep using them!! I just feel that I, personally, would benefit more from a teacher who is in the same room as I am. Everyone learns differently though; I wish I was able to learn simply by watching the videos on YouTube..I am able to learn guitar via those video easily though.

You have to be very careful in watching those videos teaching voice. Observe every move. But I bet don't move their jaw every time they do their vocalization. The first thing i learned from vocal exercises is the proper breathing to relax your neck and jaw to begin with your vocal powers.

I guess it is dangerous to listen to someone in the internet. But I found a site here that really helped me bring back my voice and I simply follow some of the instructions. Miraculously I have my voice again. I am very thankful to that site.
I am glad that you can write music. Just keep on doing it and someday you will have what you want.

Hello Mr.Plus. I like to listen to songs more than to sing them. I am sorry to say that it is hard for me to sing a complete song. I have to look at the words while singing. When I was young, I learned a lot of songs and could sing them well because I could remember the words of the songs, but not now. Sometimes I follow MTV to sing and it helps a lot.

Hello there my friend. I was a terrible singer before but I have a beautiful voice now. I started singing when I was a little child. I learned some vocal techniques by simply listening and following the way the singer sang it. Just keep on singing my friend and you will definitely have a beautiful singing voice.

I used to be a part of a church choir too. I started exercising my voice box so i won't lose it again. I pushed my voice too hard before that is why I once lost it. But now I am protecting it by daily vocal exercises. I do it 20-30 minutes a day. I am so glad that I gained back my voice.

Yes, I love singing. Besides Chinese songs, I like English songs very much. How about you? Do you like English songs?

Oh yes, I love to sing English songs. I can sing the songs from the play les miserable and many other different English songs. I once auditioned for the play Miss Saigon. I passed the singing audition and I was out for dancing. I do not know any Chinese song but I like the sound of Chinese songs.

I don't exercise my vocal cords. The closest thing I have to exercising my vocal cords is screaming my lungs out trying to reach Kelly Clarkson's high notes :D I love to sing! It's too bad that singing doesn't love me back :P I'm unfortunately UN-gifted with a melodious voice box.
Thanks for the response on my discussion!

Exercising your vocal cords is very important. I once lost my voice by putting too much pressure to my voice box. Screaming is one culprit to my once lost voice. Now my voice is back and thanks to vocal exercises. Be careful with your voice and do some vocal exercises or don't scream no more.
