Is there a way you can measure how good you are as a friend?

How can you say that your friend is your bestfriend? or how can you say that you are his/her bestfriend? How do you measure once friendship or how good you are as a friend? Is this the people who know you, understand you, always be with you thru ups and downs, who take side with you when you have some fights, and who knows your deepest secret, so if that is the case then you have a lot of bestfriends. What about those friends who told you when your not right and never take sides with you when they know your wrong, who tell you your blind site, do you consider them your bestfriends? I think for me, those are people who always make me understand what is right and what is wrong, who tell me my blind side, for example i have bad breath or body odors, because i didnt know if i have that. Who is there to listen, not to take side but to just listen, a friend who never give up on you no matter how negative you are and always make you see the positive side of the world.
