Have you ever taken some rude attitude from the salesman or saleswoman? When we go shopping for stuff, we go check out the products, salesman usually come and try to sell, they would explain to you about the products and tell you what's good about it, we might not take it sometimes and say no, let me see more then decide. Have they ever given you attitude like a angry face behind you? Or even said something like "Waste my time!"??
I remember there was one time shopping at the mall with my friend, she was interested in a spa thing and went in to look at the price, the lady was selling her all the spa stuff, I was just hanging around at the store, a lady came up to me and told me about their services, I did tell her at first I don't think I need it and I cannot afford it straightforward. She just kep saying "Let me tell you... and on and on. Since she was still deciding what to pick so I just listened and she finally asked me to set up an appointment they can do the test for me somethin glike that, I said No, thank you. She just turned to be an anger and said "That's why you have such a bad skin!" What the heck???? I did tell her I don't need and I was just waiting for my friend, that was ridiculous, but I didn't say anything back, I don't anyone wants to take that crap.
Have you ever experienced those ridiculous things at the store?

Yes, if I'm at a store with "commisioned" sales people if they start talking I'll usually just say I'm sorry but I don't need any help. They usually walk off in a huff, but it's better then letting them go on and on until you just want to slap them and run for the door. I actually avoid certain areas in the mall because they have sales stands in the middle isles that actually try to yell for you and drag you through thier demos.. Then they try to push thier products on you. When I go shopping unless I ask for help I really prefer to be left alone.

That happened to me at my bank. I went to deposit a check in my savings account and wanted $50.00 cash from that. This girl went on and on that I was approved for a credit card, it's free, I kept on saying no no no, I don't need another credit card. If I wouldn't have said OK, I would probably still be there telling her no. It was like I'm not giving you your $50.00 until you say yes. You can bet I will never go into that location again. However, I believe she had to. I believe if she wants to keepn her job,m she has to sell so many products. But this girl looked like she was enjoying it. I could never do high pressure sales. And, I'm might lose my job because of it.

Thanks for sharing your story with us! Sometimes the sales people actually need to take crap from the customers because some of the customers are tough.

I have alot of credit card companies call my house and that girl reminds me of them. I just tell them no, if they keep talking I just hang the phone up. Its kind of hard when it is face to face. I would report her to her boss though. I would not have signed up for the credit card if I could not afford it. I need every penny I have. I don't need more debt. You could always loud cap her in front of everyone "I Said No!" I bet she would have stopped asking. I'd use that as a last resort. :)

Very Persistent, Isn't she. If I were in your situation, I would drag her down and take her to the manager and complained about the saleslady refusing my response which is"No not Interested" and recommended to have her suspended or fired. Or simply K.O her out in the middle of her so called "Spiel".she should have been more polite or nicer.

haha I didn't do any of that, I just left the store, I would feel bad if I made her lost her job by complaining her...

I never experienced that level of rudeness from salespeople in malls. But if I were you, I would take that salesperson with me and demand to see the manager together. I would then say all that I want to say to the manager. I would tell the manager it this how they treat the customers and did they train their salespeople because it seems they have no manners at all. I would demand the manager that he/she punish and at least put some kind of sanction on the rude salesperson.

I didn't do that though... I just left and left it alone, didn't go back to the same store anymore. Thanks for sharing! :-)

I would tell her I'll show you bad skin and go straight to her boss and report her. If her manager would not do anything I would go over their head until someone took care of the problem. I am sure that the owners of the store would not want someone like that working for them it would drive business away. Next time a salesperson comes up to you and you tell them that you are not interested and they keep talking just turn around and walk away real fast. If that does not work pick up your cellphone (if you have one) and act like you just missed a very important phone call and call someone quick and try to stay on the phone almost the whole time you are there. "Oh! I just missed a phone call! Excuse me!" and walk away real fast with the phone to your ear. LOL. I would not let people like that get me down. Its your money not theirs. :)

Hi there mermaidivy! Good day to you. I experienced that kind of thing in a restaurant. The waiters have a bad attitude! They don't go to you when you call them and they always have the irritable mood on their face! I was so disgusted to them but I really like the food at their restaurant why I eat there. I think that is not right to a waiter or even a salesman because it can affect their sales because of their customers being mad at them because of their attitude! I don't like that attitude and I do not want to tolerate that but I really love the food there at the restaurant and that is just the mere reason why I go there. Damn waiters there!

That is so mean!!!! Luckily I've never experienced anything like that from a salesperson! I have however been treated awfully by customers while working in retail! I've been yelled at and cursed at for things that weren't my fault. But luckily I've always kept my cool and just referred them to the manager to complain. And of course they never yell at the manager, they just want to take out their frustrations at the lowly employee behind the counter!

Well, I always experience those bad attitude of the sales person in the mall particularly the saleswoman. There is one mall in our town who doesn't have a good saleswomen. Actually, most of the people doesn't like to buy stuff in that mall because of the sales person there. They really have a bad attitude. There is one time, I'm looking for a cloth for my pillow case and for my uniform, I asked the saleswomen to get me 2meters of that particular cloth and she told me to wait for a while since she has another customer. So, I just asked another saleswoman who doesn't have a customer to get me the clothes that I need but the saleswoman refused it. According to her, she has a customer but I told her that I didn't saw her talking to someone else, she was just standing there. Well, she get mad at me and told me. She didn't say any words but she turned around on me and just leave me there. Because of my anger, I called their supervisor and told him about the behavior of their saleswomen. Honestly, I didn't buy anything from that store and just went to another store. They don't really have a good sales person in that store and I don't know why they keep on hiring those people. It really irritates me when every time I remember those things.

Wow talking about bad Public Relations there! I don't know if this is just me, but I would be getting the manager's number, the district manager's number, and so forth, then be making some phone calls! I would had not put up with that before.
As far as myself, I believe the only time I have ever experienced any problems has been when I was at like Arby's ( I think it was Arby's...) and this manager didn't want to give me the district manager's number. She tried to get smart with me and all by saying " oh we don't give out the district manager's number" and all. That is crap right there in itself! A consumer has the right to a manger/district manager's number.
Quite frankly let me tell you what I did maybe it will make you feel better about your situation. I called the 1-800 number to Arby's comments and suggestions/survey hotline, and asked to speak to their manager, then asked if they could connect me up to the district manager otu where I live. They had NO problem at all doing this. After they did this I called up the manger. He was more than happy to deal with that manger, and from what I have seen in the past two months that manger at Arby's isn't there anymore.
I wasn't trying to get anyone fired, but it is anything when you just have bad Public Relations in something like that.
I do give you credit though for keeping a cool head.

p.s. sorry if I went off on my own tangent there...let go of some steam now.

That's what I said before she started to sell me too but she ignored that and kept selling so... it wasn't my fault.
