If you like the moves you'll absolutely love the book. The movie is one of my favorites, but the book really gives you so much more insight into the charactors and once you start you can't put them down. I wish the movie would have gone into a little more detail, but everything will come together when you read the book. I think if you already like the movie you should definately start on the books.

Twilight is a great romantic movie to watch. I have not read the novel so i don't have any idea about it. But it is better to watch the movie than read the novel as visualization is better.

i agree about that because twilight is really greet to watch in movie or even reading in books about twilight. you can feel the reality of their story even if its only a story. its express the feeling's of everyone, on how to love, care, respect each other.

The Novel is much better! There is so much more information to understand the story in the novels then in the movies. Not only do you learn back story's of all the Cullens and how they have come to be, but you also learn more as to why Bella chooses who she does. Its more in depth and you can see a stronger connection between Edward and Bella in to books. The titles on the books/movies have meaning to the story itself. Twilight-The End of something for Bella. New Moon- Jacob Black: Get to know this character a lot more. Eclipse- Edward Cullen: Get to know this character a lot more. Breaking Dawn- The Beginning of something new. You learn this during reading the novels.

the movie is nothing compared to the book. there are a lot of important details in the book that is not in the movie, especially the story about alice. how she became a vampire. and why did james tracked down bella all of a sudden. it's best that you read the book than watch the movie. the more you're gonna love twilight!!!

We recently rented Twilight. Haven't watched it yet. But my niece was upset by the movie after first reading the books. She said the movie didn't follow the books very well. That can happen when a person really loves a series of books.

I have read the book and watched the movie too. I think that I like the novel better than the movie version of it because the movie is so short so the director has to compressed the story in about 1.5 minutes which is bad because the most exciting and romantic part are not shown. While the book is complete with details. You can imagine things that are happening while reading it. The novel touch my heart sio much.

I've heard that many times. From all of the people that have read and seen the books about 90% tell me they liked the book better. I guess they liked the book better because they can use their own imagination to decide how the characters will look to them and how the settings will be...it's like their own book.

What do I think about Twilight? Personally, I'm not a fan. I've read the first book, seen all of the movies, and made it about half way through the second book. For me, the writing is mediocre, the plot line nears immature and sexist at points, and the characters are melodramatic. However, if forced to choose, I'd say the book was better than the movie.

I have read all 4 books and I really love them.. I think there's something about the books that can't be embodied in the movies. I like the movies a lot, especially Twilight, but Eclipse was a little (just a little) dissapointing.

I read all the books before I went to see the film and although I absolutely loved the film the books are far superior. They go into far more detail and you learn a lot mroe about the history of the characters. They are definately worth reading, I would see if you can get them out of your local library or something like that. I ended up buying all the series having read the first 3 from a library. I can't wait until New Moon has come out. I will defnately go see it on the day it's released! I've watched the trailer about 5 times already and I can't wait for Jacob to take a more prominant role in this film.
