Do you Really Read Magazines?

I subscribe to several magazines, Time, Glamour, etc...I think I am wasting my money cos I don't really READ them...I go thru the pages and look at the pictures...not so much in Time, I may do some reading there. But any other type of magazine I just run thru and it's gone. What a waste!!! Is it just me? I used to subscribe to Islands and used to read it cover to cover...it was so interesting...but it got to the point I didn't have the time to do it anymore, so I let the subscription go. When all of mine are up for renewal, that's it for me...I like to read books! How about you all? Is it just a pastime to just kill some time??? Take care all!!!

I usually read on some interesting topic only on magazine. But it doesn't mean i'll trow away those magazines after that. I still keep it on my bookshelf. When i have nothing to do and nothing to read, i'll read those magazines one by one again. Sometimes i find something interesting on those old magazines. So finally i've read the whole content of a magazine after some time. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I used to keep all of my Islands magazines, but it built up too much over the years and I just have the ones with the most interesting islands in them. I can't keep all of the ones I get, cos I'd run out of space for me!!! But you do have a good idea. It's a rainy day here, I may do some reading...

i don't really like reading so i don't subscribe to any magazine. i used to subscribe to a few like time, newsweek, national geographics, but like you i didn't have the time to read them all. so i just didn't renew my subscriptions. sometimes when i see a magazine i like in the store i'd just go through it there and if there's a lot of interesting articles i might buy just that issue. i also don't like reading books though. the last couple of books i bought i only read half way through!
