I was worrying that our gasoline price going to rise up again. I knew that during the summer time, many of us might consume more gasoline than usual. We might traveling alot, but will it be going up to $4.00 again? I hope this will not happen again. I just don't want to pay too much for the gasoline ever again. I hope that government will do something to limit the price on gasoline.

Here in the UK, gasoline is currently around £1.20 per litre. That equates to $8.00 per US gallon. You really don't know how lucky you are! Incidentally, the average annual mileage in the US is around 13,500 ( http://www.fhwa.dot.gov/ohim/onh00/bar8.htm ) and in the UK it is usually reckoned to be around 10,000 - 12,000 miles, so there is little difference between actual mileage. Our cars, however, do tend to be more efficient (in terms of distance per unit of gas) than American cars.

I don't like that gasoline prices are going up and up! I notice today gasoline is $2.74 a gl! I fear it could be up to $4.00 a gain by the end of summer! I don't want to to pay $4.00 a gallon again! I can't afford not to drive! My job is 12 miles from my house and with my shift it is impossible to fine someone to carpool with! I don't think the goverment will do anything! The oil companies pay big money to senators and congressmen towards their campaigns! I can't see goverment doing anything with gas prices now or ever!

It is sadly likely that it will rise that high again - we hit that point before. The only reason that it went down at all was because of Bush leaving office - when one party leaves, the gas prices always start to go down at the end of their term (they want people to think well of the party when the next vote comes around.) Hopefully, people will cut back a bit on travel - the less we consume, the better off we are.

I don't know. I don't have time to worry about what has not happened yet. I made it through last year and I will make it through this year. I have made it through unemployment, losing children, marital arguments, parent's deaths, debt, etc. Now it is time to focus on the fact that we live in a vast country filled with people full of possibilities. I choose to focus on the beauty of this day and tackle the future when I get to it. Don't mean to correct, but for all the years I spent worrying, it did not change a thing. It is when I focused on the best that I really began to live a good life.
