I am still confused the differences between the postgraduate and master degree. Can anyone tells me about that? I am planning to take the postgraduate but many said I should take the master degree... They are different but didn't explain to me the differences. Does anyone know that? Please tell me...

Anything after your Bachelors degree is postgraduate up to and including your PHD. They call it postgraduate work or working for your postgraduate. But the degree is called a Masters and then a Doctorate. Someone is playing with your mind. Shalom~Adoniah

I guess you mean by the differences between Master and Ph.D? They're just both programs the postgraduate education. Ph.D takes a longer time and has more strick criteria of obtainning the degree ( say you have to work out certain researches or discoveries), while master programs are shorter and could be earier and more professional rather than academic.

A master's degree IS a postgraduate degree - there is really no difference. However, you will not be able to take a Master's unless you already have a Bachelor's degree (BA, BSc, etc.) Whatever you decide to study, it should be what you want to do, not what others tell you you should study. Good luck!
