my hamster shakes like crazy... what can I do?

i have read that hamsters can go into a hibernation like state if they dont have enough food and water or if they get too cold. if she has plenty to eat and drink, maybe try heating the room she is in a little more to experiment. if she is going into hibernation state then that may explain the shaking as it takes them quite a while to wake up from it, also i think their whiskers twitch a lot then too.

I personally have not had any problems like that with my hamster (knock on wood) but the last time a problem came up with my hamster where he chewed uncontrolably on the sides of the cage. I took him to petsmart because vets cost too much, and they just gave me a special type of food and he got back to better in no time.
