Are glaciers melting at an ever alarming rate!

Glaciers world wide may be siberian or in himalayas, they are believed to be melting at an alarming rate. Of course the snow sheets get replenished during the severe winter conditions but lately it has been found they are melting more than ever! Is it man made global warming or heating up of our planet resources as such!

I saw a show on TV the other day showing a plane flying over these huge glasiers and I must admit it did look very scary, Yes I believe man has done this to our planet, we have all been so greedy, take, take take and not putting anything back..
Man has always said they are the superior race over other animals, well it isn't the animals that have ruined this planet it is man so maybe we are not so superior afterall..

Yeah this is an alarming sight to see. To imagine that glacier hold so much fresh water and it also cools down the earth. The rate that the glaciers are melting is making me worried. Some experts say that some of the coastal cities may be no longer. The ocean level is rising and affects everything from the animals in the ocean to weather patterns. I am glad to find out about all the people and governments that are making a conservative effort to reduce pollution. I think it may be too late.
