Everyone has heard different mottos, or "proverbs" if you want to sound fancy, about life....so what one do you really take to heart and believe in? I have a couple that I think are really wise and I try to remember them as im going through life, one that has helped me through struggles is "what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger" and I think that is so true.....the other is something that my mother always told me and sometimes i wish everyone would follow it "treat others the way you want to be treated"....so what are some sayings that you really believe in?

Well, mine would be... "God would not give us problems that we can't handle." I always think that problems are just challenges in life to make me stronger as a person and we can always solve those problems, cause God would not give us problems that we can't handle on our own.

Thats a really good and inspirational one, so many people let life get them down and they don't believe in themselves, and so they just give up,,,,but if more people followed your motto, then they would achieve their dreams more often than not

My motto is to live like so that every morning when I get up, the Devil will say "oh $hit, she's awake!" LOL In other words, don't take any bull_$hit from anyone, and don't let people think they can scare, bully, intimidate, or annoy you. Grab life by the balls, and live it for all it's worth.

Like you, there are a more, there isn't just one, there are to many aspects of life that you can put it all into one. I am always finding something that aspires me to remember or write down to have it with me. Life can be beautiful if you allow it to be, all you need to do is actually look around you and see the miracles that so many overlook.
1. Never Loose Faith
2. It is What it is
3. Anything you do, comes back 10 fold to you, good or bad.
4. Plan for tommorrow but, Live for Today
5. Love doesn't require two people to look at each other but, that they look together in the same direction.
6. Life is drawing without an eraser.
7. Don't cry because it is over now, laugh because it happened.
8. The toughest lesson to learn is: Which bridge in life to cross and which one to break off
9. Perhaps God would want you to become acquainted with many different people in the course of your life, so that when you meet the right ones, you can appreciate and be grateful for them
10. I wish you the strength of elements. I wish you always, air to breathe, fire to warm you, water to drink, and the earth to live in.

I really like 2-7, I say #2 a lot in my personal life because some things just are never going to change so you have to accept them, and #3 is basically karma and i have always believed in that, #4 and #5 are something that i really try to apply to my relationship with my boyfriend......you are very wise and enlightened to have so many wonderful mottos that you live by

mine...its just simple quotation that i make it motto in life...actually i read it in readers digest when i was in college...one of the great leader in the world says that "If you want to it easy, don't take it seriously"...the first i read that quotation, it stuck my head...i internalize the meaning and get what it really means...it helps me a lot in my everyday lives...specially in facing problems in work...it always reflect on my mind that quote when i'm down...thats why i make it a motto...:)
