Just curious to hear peoples thoughts, about if you think (in general) if you think Poker is better as a hobby or a Job?
Please include any personal/family experience that affect your thoughts on the topic.
If personal experience, Please state if it was online, or offline. Before Poker boom, or after. As well as the game(s) your played(NL hold'em, Omaha etc, Tourneys, Cash or SNGs).

For me personally, I don't think I can do poker for a living. It's a great game/hobby and I love playing through the night - but it's just not stimulating enough for me.
I do like the strategy and thinking part of hold em' - and thoroughly enjoy thinking of ways to outplay and outsmart the other player. And if given the chance to have a WPT seat, I'd take it in a heartbeat. But I don't think it'll be a good job for me.
That's all personal assessment - some people do this for a living - hopping from one casino to the next. And they're good at it. More power to them.
I'm not - even though I do enjoy the game.
cheers!
