Hi all mylotters, do you ever have this experience? While having lunch or dinner with your friends, suddenly both of you or all people on the table just in silence and out of topic. What would you do if you're in such situation?
I see myself as a quiet person too, and i usually do have have much topics to talk to. Normally i'll join in or give my commnet in a discussion but not so often to start chatting on a topic.
So, can you please share here, have you ever fall in such situation when everyone is quiet or out of topic to talk? What is the suitable things to do for such situation? What role you usually play in a group, a listener or the person who talks a lot? Just a sharing.. :)

Yes, I have experienced this situation too. What I do when this happens is that I just talk to someone near me and ask him/her about general topics like work, school, etc. Or we just laugh ourselves off over some nonsensical or funny stuff. That always relieves the silence or awkwardness. When I am with my friends, I usually talk a lot. But with other people, I am more reserved.

Oh i see. I think taking about the general topics is a not bad idea too as they're easily answer, and everyone will surely has something to say about it. We can use these topics as starting point for another or more topics deeper.
Ya, i agree that i think most us will not talk much during the first meet with new friends or people other than our close friends, it's common.
Thanks for your comments! :)
