Frontline. Is it working for your dog?

Our dog is on frontline, but lately we have noticed that it doesnt quite have the same effect as it used to. Ticks are still present (altho the number of engorged female ticks have been drastically lowered).
When we first started administering fronline a year ago, the ticks would fall off in 2 days and not return till after the next dose is due. Anyone notice this behavior in your pet?
