know any converter? to wmv, flv, mp4, mp3, 3gp files

please i need help...
well i am getting frustrated because i need to convert a video from youtube but i can't do it. i do not know any converter for that matter and well, i am really not that knowledgeable about all of this too. my friends and office mates told me to search for converters and that are licensed ones. but how? yes i did get manage to search some, but others won't work while others always takes a long time to download the things i needed. and i badly needed that video and songs for our office forums.
hope i could really count on those who knows how to... and i would gladly and thankfully accept it! thanks in advance my friends!

Hi Laichie.
in fact there is a way by which you can directly get the file from youtube into a desired format on your PC. A website called zamzar.com lets you convert your favorite video files from youtube into the desired format. You need to go to zamzar and put the youtube video URL on the site. Then select the desired output format. Next the conversion process will start and they will intimate you via email, once the conversion is completed.This takes only a couple of minutes. The email contains a link that you can use to download the converted file.
In case you do not want to go for this method, use the xilisoft video conveter, which is the most efficient one and also allows you to convert from and into a multiple formats.

There is an Imtoo converter that will convert flv files to avi and perhaps to wmv. There are converters such as ultra avi converter that will convert avi to wmv. If the other suggestions you have gotten don't work out, you can look for these. Good luck.

could they also convert my video files as 3gp too? i am planning to put some videos on my hpone and my friends again said that only general 3gp files can be read thru my phone. thanks friend! wow! i am so happy for all of your help. jhelai

Its absolutely possible to convert the files to convert it to 3gp as well to be seen on the phones or some other format for ipods or zunes.

I have a software called Winavi and it can convert many formats to the digital stuff such as cellphone, PSP and so on. It is a software to deal with the video format files. If you want it, please let me know. Or perhaps you can find it via the net. It is a nice software.

Hey jhelaichie, There's a software called youtube converter that allows you to directly convert the youtube videos into any format you want. Another cool methods is using the free online converter at www.zamzar.com. There you can convert the youtube video to any format you like

You can use Total Video Converter. It's pretty easy to use and can convert from a lot of videos format. But if you just want to convert files coming from YouTube, you can use Portable FLV converter. It's just free so no need for license. If you're looking for licensed Total Video Converter, you can look for it on 9down dot com. That easy! Good Luck!

ry media convert site!!it is an online converter of files in multiple formats video,music,text,adobe,multimedia in general!!You don't need nothin,licence or paying services...just put your file in the input and select your format in the output afterthat it will convert and when finished you can doenload directly on your computer the file totally converted!!I tried it sometimes and it worked ok!!

try going to download.com and look for converters. i just recently downloaded a video converter there. haven't use it but it seems to work anyway. i have downloded stuff from there since before and it works perfectly fine.
