Facebook getting boring?

I have pretty much given up on Facebook. Especially now that I have switched to dial up, the pages take forever to load, if they even load at all. I have become bored with it and find I have better things to do with my time then wait forever for the page to come up.

Actually so many social community sites are being developed in the present market. So what is to be done with this old one?

I have been using facebook for a while now and I am sometimes bored with it. But with my favorite apps, I then have some more time playing and the like and not get bored anymore. Sometimes I go to my friends' page to see what recent apps they have added that I might like too. Sometimes I just look in their pictures, their wall just to have something to do.

it's so slow...and that's what irritates me the most.plus all those utterly nonsensical quizzes...."what lipstick are you?","where will you meet your soulmate?",duh!i hardly ever use it.been a member since 2006

Hmm.. although the novelty of facebook has worn off, I'd say that I spend even more time on facebook now than I used to when I first created a fb account. It's probably because I have more FB friends, which means more profiles to keep up with heh. One thing that I have noticed, though, is that most people's profiles are starting to look more and more alike. And even though you might keep checking a certain person's FB to see if there have been any changes in their life or themselves, most often they are still the same person who hasn't changed. They may have a new haircut, wardrobe, friends, or "cooler" tagged photos of themselves partying, but underneath all of there isnt much that is different about them. SO yeah, I guess in that sense, facebook IS getting boring because many facebook users (or at least the ones on my list) are the ones who are making facebook boring.

I joined facebook just to find a family member and I always thought it was quite boring, but I love bebo. I'm addicted to it

i just created my Facebook account, about almost a year now. i don't go there unless i get notifications that i have invites, messages or whatever. maybe not to get bored being in the site all the time.

Yea I've gotten so bored with Faceboook that I don't even use the internet to check it anymore, I use my phone for a few seconds and move to the next thing. And I only check Facebook when I'm bored nowadays. I used to get so annoyed when I would sign on and see 35 notifications, only to find out that 30 of them are from those stupid applications, so I blocked all of the apps. I also think it's funny how Facebook and MySpace are becoming the same, they have the same apps, the chat thing, and statuses. Its all boring and repetitive now.
