What do you do with a pulled muscle up in the Hip?

I just bend to grab something on the floor two days ago and couldn't get back up!And it hurt like no tomorrow, it still hurt it is hard to lay down to sit down and it takes long to go away the problem. If the muscle is pulled how does it takes to recover, is there anybody expert on the subject?

I had the same problem I am not sure where it was really hurting as it seemed to hurt every where. I told my mom and this is what she did to me. She had me lay on my back and relax she then picked up my leg shaking it to make sure Iwas relaxed then she pulled it hard shook my leg again and then pulled it again. She then did the same thing for the other leg. Then she had me roll over onto my stomach and she proceded to massage my hip and lower back till it no longer hurt. Needless to say I feel great and have not had a problem since. Like I said I am no expert but it worked for me so maybe it will work for you as well. Good luck and I hope you get feeling better soon.

I'm no expert, however, I wanted to suggest hot and cold compresses on the area to ease the soreness of the pulled muscle. This should also heal it! I hope that this helps. You can use a hot / cold water bottle, heating pad (for hot), Ice Pack (for cold), or you could use tension relief lotion / muscle relaxation lotion.
