My cat is getrting fat

Do you feed your cat wet food or dry food? Is food out all the time? If you feed wet food only, your cat will lose weight. Dry food is mostly carbohydrates that are not needed by your cat. Wet food is protein and moisture, both essential for a cat's diet. Feed only at meals, about 3 oz of food each meal, twice a day. If a few weeks of this routine do not make your cat slimmer, mix mashed canned green beans with your cat's food. Use about a teaspoon of beans and reduce the food by that much. This is what we do with our chubby cat, and she is losing weight. Good luck with your kitty.

My 3 yr old cat Hugo weighs nearly a stone although he does'nt look horrendously fat,he eats wet and dry food but not much compared to my 3 other cats,they all eat more than him and they're average weight.The vet said he's just a big cat and he's not overweight for the size of his frame,his head and paws are huge.Even though he's big he has the most pathetic meow and he's scared of everything,he's just like a big cuddly teddy bear

Hi, my brother in law's friend got a cat, which is so fat. I think he was like 15lbs. He looks like a pig baby or something like that... so big and fat. He got a heart attack last year and He couldn't make it. poor him, he was so sweet and smart cat too... so if you like your cat, please dont let this happen to her. put her on diet. she sounds a little big to me now and take it easy to put her on diet
