Twitter: Is it addicting?

When I first signed up for twitter, I was like eh, a new site to kind of play with, but I have to admit - I am addicted. 140 characters of pure goodness ;) Does anyone use twitter? What are you thoughts?

Twitter is a lot of things to a lot of people. Many use it for business, others for personal, just to update everyone. As far as personal, I don't know why you have to update so much, don't you have other things to do? LOL. I just started on Twitter about two weeks ago and have 96 followers.

Thanks for your response. One my friends (in real life) has a twitter and he updates a ton. If he doesn't, then someone usually calls him to find out if he's okay. 96 followers? wow!
