I hate myself!

Two reasons to hate myself:
1. I have thought of a beautiful discussion last night but since it was a power cut, I coudln't post it. It was a night time, hence I couldn't write in it any paper also. Well, I thought that it is only one thing I will be doing in night and that it m... errr sleeping and I will be not forgetting about it next morning but it has been 2 hours since I woke up in the mornng and I can still not recall it. This is the most annoying habit of mine, forgetting about something!
2. Errrrr, what was the second reason to hate my self.... Guess I have forgotten it too! God, help me please!!!!
So, what do you say, Should I continue hating me so that my inner soul would get up and keep up my with my memory or should I just leave it just as it is!?!
Any suggestions are appreciated! Well, thanks in adcance because you never know I can forgt to thank you too after your response

Stop hating yourself or I'm coming over there and spanking you.
Oh wait, you might like that!

Don’t you hate that? I get so annoyed when I know I have come up with something brilliant and an hour or two later I have forgotten the whole thing! You know what I hate even more? When I need to do something and I don’t remember if I have already done it or not, that one may just be old age and it probably doesn’t happen to you.
Anyway, you can hate the situation but never hate yourself.
Try putting notes on your cell phone when you have no pen or paper. Don’t worry about it sanuanu; you still managed to get a good discussion out of it!

I am very sorry paula but when I talk to you about forgetting something I recall the situation in which you choose the wrong car to sit and watching your husband in another car, remember! Sorry, I want to have a laugh please, seeking permission!

You have permission to laugh! It happened a couple of years ago and my husband still won't let me live it down! He mentions it every chance he gets and laughs...

In your situation its really hard. The power supply is cut. And it's too dark to write down the topic that comes into your mind. Well, what can i say is, it is normal to a person to forget something, the illness of forgeting do not choose it's victim. It also sometimes happens to me. It is like just a snap that i forget what will i do. For me to recall what i should do i go back in my mind what i have done before then the thing that i should do comes again into my mind.

The funny thing is that we don't forget about respiration or about food or about our medicines but we forget about titles for myLot!
Hah, I tried that also, going back in time but all I can recall is that it was some very nice discussion but it is not coming to my mind and the worst thing was that I thought of two reasons to specify in this discussion and by the time I thought of writting it down, I forgot the second one!
Eh, I need some consultation!

Hi there! Well, first of all, its not good to hate yourself. Whatever the reasons are you shouldn't hate yourself. I've been there and done that. I used to hate myself for a lot of reasons like making a lot of mistakes or like you - forgetting something. I realized that the more you hate yourself the more you lack self-esteem. It is better to love yourself so the inner beauty will come out and people will appreciate you more. Committing mistakes is a part of life what is important is that you acknowledge that you did bad and not do it again. You should be able to learn from those mistakes and show the people that you are capable of doing good. About forgetting, well, I think people often forget. It's either they are old that's why they forget or they lack vitamins. I hope I have contributed a bit.

Sanu-
Life occurs. I don't think you should hate yourself over something you had no control over. And there have been many times I've thought of an idea as I drifted off, didn't write it down, and forgot it. I place that as it was not my time to write about it. If the idea is meant to be written down, you will remember it in due time.
Now, if you really want a trick, learn to write in the dark. Keep a pen and paper near your bed and scratch out what you are thinking in the dark. I've done this a few times when I've had a dream and didn't want to wake my partner.

Ouch! That would be an art to learn. Never thought in that way. I can write in dark also, after all, writing doesn't need our eyes. I can write on my PC by closing my eyes, so I can do it pen and pencil too!
Thanks for the great idea! This will cheer me up!
So, you write your dreams too?

Yeah, the ones I remember lol. Sometimes I don't recall them at all, but those I do recall I journal about, and may research. I do research especially where animals are concerned, making notes, and if something occurs later on in the weeks I make note of it next to the dream I had.

Ah, after reading all the responses, I now feel good and I think that it was a part of our life. May be I need to learn how to remember things for a long time. I have had a session on making our memorty a little stronger, in which I was taught that if we want to learn something then we should construct a story around it, have you heard of that?

Infact I do have candles but I don't have any flashlights. The matter of fact is that candles are not available in my room as it is available in kitchen only. I use cellphones too but that was locked with my mum's room, besides I trusted my memory rather than writting it down and see what has happened. My memory hasn't been a friend of mine!

Take it easy! Sometimes it is a good habit to forget something, maybe you will live happyly in the future.
I will forget something,if I dont' write them down at once. The reason is that all of the thinking are suddenly appeared in my mind.If you are care of the ideas, write them down before forgetting them.

In the situation of the discussion starter, he must also prepare a flashlight so he can write even there is no electricity around.

Yes, I always use to write down the idea in a paper just in case I forget about it in future but last night was a powr cut and it was 11 at that time, so everyone was sleeping and I didn't want them to feel uncomfort, so I didn't try to find a match box or candle and slept right then!

Hahaha! I too have the same kinda problem. I use to think of some nice discussion and I'll get it. But, I'll think of posting it later and at last, it's gone! I'll forget the topic. This is so usual man! Just be cool! This is a common thing. If you don't forget, then you can't be a human lol!

I think it is habit of many people and they are worried about it.
You have given good examples about your forgetfulness, you are a brave person.
I think it is time for you to marry because you might forget about it in the near future.
You might be think a lot about something in mind and that thinking is taking over all your plans.
I think you should do some meditation in the morning and don't really think too hard about anything.

Yah that's good. Get some meditation and not to think too much and too hard. But i think to marry someone is an example of a thing that will not get out in your mind. One thing you can not forget. :)

The good thing is that I didn't forget what has happened with me last night but I forgot the things which came to me just a second before, isn't it funny?

Hello, friend! How sad about that. But do not blame yourself about that, you do not want to happen that thing and it is unexpected. All you have to do is to find a way to solve your problem. As what others had already mentioned, you should take down notes when your computer was not available. And prepare a candle or flashlight to use if power is still not available until night so you can enjoy writing. You must keep calm and you might remember that discussion later.
Happy mylotting and have a nice day!

Most of the time, when I am on pc, I will open notepad and write it down to make a posing on myLot because it takes time to open even a new discussion page, isn't it?
As when I am not on PC, I use a pen and paper to write my ideas down and my mum calls me a freak when I do that because I write it in my way which no one can understand.

Well, I use pen and paper when doing tasks, I write it first on paper before typing on my phone to submit it. When I am posting a discussion, response or comment, I just type it directly on my phone. I also prepare extra batteries so that I keep on getting online.
