How come Philippine Cable television has annoying commercials?

It's been a lately habit of Philippine cable companies to include product advertisments on paid accounts. What I mean to say is that knowing I paid for my cable tv, isn't that there should be no product commercials to hamper my viewing pleasure?
From what I understand, the reason why local channels have commercials is because these commercials "sponsor" the airtime cost for each show. Whereas in cable, the home viewer PAYS for that airtime cost for each show he watches. And the very fact that all what this home viewer wants is to maximize that airtime cost by watching paid for shows, I am at a lost and even annoyed at all these commercials consuming our precious time.
Yes the cable company is earning more by broadcasting these commercials but isn't it trampling on the home viewer's product agreement?
Can anyone explain this?

sounds like they're just conforming to the practises of most cable/satalite tv componies in the world. Apart from the BBC (and tv licence funded) run ones, nearly all cable/satelite/digital television chanels include adverts.
