Hello peeps,
I was just wanting to know if anyone has any tips on weddings for older couple's? Like, I know I can't wear white I am 40 years young and have two teens. But, what is the old, new, borrowed, blue thing and where did that come from? Also, what do you do if people you invite might not get along? Or, if they pig out and I run out of food? I have a limited supply of money right now do to the economy and I can't afford alot of food. So, do I just say, "One plate per person and no heeping your plate to the max!" Or, is that rude! But, there are so many things to remember to do and so little time left to do them in. And, what if I forget something?Any tips out there?

Good God, your making yourself nuts. Wear what you want, if you want to wear white, do it. If you want to wear a bikini, do it. If ppl fight, ask them to leave. If they pig out, politely pull them aside and talk to them. Just enjoy your day and get through it.

I JUST WENT TO A WEDDING LAST SAT. FOR AN OLDER COUPLE. HE is my son's friend & is 49 , don't really know how old she is but she's close to his age. it was very sinple & very sweet, IF I was worried about not having enough food i would cut the menu down to just cake, punch, nuts & mints. that is plenty anyway.
