People say that eggs are not to good for health, because have a lot of cholesterol!!
I read about this, because i like to eat eggs very much..and i find many answers , very different.
Doctors say that eggs are very good for health, because have a good cholesterol for our heart. Is very dangerous for us , fat in what we cook eggs, and the best is olive oil, or in water, or why not in butter.
How do you like eat your eggs? Boiled ?
How many eggs do you eat in a week?
I know people who can eat 5,6 eggs in a day...
Here we say that that EGGS IN THE MORNING ARE GOLD, TO LUNCH ARE STEEL, AND IN THE EVENING ARE LEAD.
SO, TO EAT EGGS IN THE MORNING, GIVE US ENERGY FOR ALL DAY, BUT NEVER EAT IN THE EVENING.

I eat 2 eggs a day. So i'm all for eggs. I don't think eating eggs is a bad thing. But 8 eggs a day is too much. There's a thing called moderation...LOL

We have chickens in our garden ,so we get fresh eggs every day.My children like boiled eggs and bread and i have six children so you can imagine how many eggs we eat in our house in one week.I boil my eggs most of the time and mash them up with mayonaise for sandwichs and salads. My children eat about twelve eggs a week where as i eat about four once a week and so do my husband.I think eggs are good for you and i also think the fresher egg the better.

Hi there and smile!
There is no recommended limit on how many eggs people should eat. Eggs are a good choice as part of a healthy balanced diet. But remember that it's a good idea to eat as varied a diet as possible. This means we should be trying to eat a variety of foods each week to get the wide range of nutrients we need.
Eggs are a good source of:
1.protein
2.vitamin D
3.vitamin A
4.vitamin B2
5. iodine
Happy mylotting and happy egg eating

I think when it comes to eggs they've gotten a bad rap over the years. In part because of research on them. One time they are bad for us, next time they are great, then they are bad. Geeza they need to make up their minds.
What I know about them is yes they are high in cholesterol, but the good kind of cholesterol ( there are two kinds one good and one bad). They are very low in caleries. Have you ever heard of the egg diet? Where you eat two hard boilded eggs before every meal? It's a filler and very low in caleries.
The other bonus with eggs is they aren't a heavy meal, they digest easily so you don't have this feeling of being over stuffed or bloated, thus why they are a great start to the morning meal. It's a protien for energy and it doesn't weigh you down so you get the energy you need from them without feeling like you just a brick.

i have read about study of eggs that healthy adults can eat an egg a day without increasing their risk to heart disease. however, if the person has high cholesterol a known risk for heart disease, it is recommended not to eat more than two egg yolks a week but u can have as many egg whites as you like. poached and/or boiled eggs i guess is the best way to cook it.
happy myLotting.

Organic or free-range eggs are better for you. It only makes sense that what the chicken is eating will be in the eggs. If the chicken is raised in a natural fashion and not stuck in a cage all of its life and fed hormones, then the eggs will be better for you, high in omega fatty acids.
