Anyone have Tooth problems because of fear of the dentist?

No, i didn't had any tooth problem becoz of fear of dentist.i didnt had any bad experience with dentist.

Here's something that might help. You might want to try looking for a dentist that does sedation dentistry. The office I work for only does oral sedation, meaning you take a pill instead of getting an IV. We are in a small rural town in KY and we see SOOO many patients that are high fear/anxiety. You can check out our website flemingsburgdentalcare.com for more info about sedation if you want to but basicly you can get lots of work done in a much shorter amount of time and most people don't remember a thing about it. The down side is it can be expensive and you have to have some one drive you to the office and back ome and stay with you until bedtime but if you really need the work done and it will make you feel that much better, I'd say go for it. If it's out of your range, ask about nitrous oxide a.k.a. laughing gas. However, the first and foremost thing is that you find a dentist and staff that you trust. Ask them if you can talk to some of their other patients. To help people feel more comfortable at our office, we also give them a complete tour of our office on their first visit and tell them that any question they want to ask is fair game and anytime they want to stop, all they have to do is say so.

I had many bad experiences from several dentists, and no matter how many times I brushed my teeth, we still need to get them x-rayed and cleaned. I didn't go for 7 or so years. I really regret it, but I was very lucky to only have a few pulled.

I HATE The denitst and desperately need to visit one but wont. My teeth will fall out first lol

hello there. i dont really have serious problems because our school requires us to have our teeth fixed or clean from cavities every semester. lolz. :) however, i dont go to the extent of having braces (yet) because some of my friends who have braces tell very awful stories about their first few weeks of having braces. they told me that it was so painful that they couldnt eat a thing. lolz.
