What did you wear that you thought was sooooo cool ... at the time

For me, it has to be the petrol blue hotpants I had when I was about 15/16. They had a pink butterfly on the front and I wore them with a shiny cerise shirt I got from Harry Fenton's menswear (I picked up the shirt & asked the young assistant what size a small man was. He showed me to the changing rooms & asked if I needed any assistance... - I didn't!) Black seamed tights and strappy black platform sandals completed the look. I've seen similar outfits recently but without the bib part on the shorts...

It was pink princess dress(I think that's how it's called) and intense blue tights. I felt so cool in it! I wore it in the middle of the winter so people were looking at me as though I had lost my mind XDD

I still have what is, basically a piece of string as an ankle bracelet. (I did have 2 but lost one of them a couple of weeks ago)
