Spoilers, worst thing ever, or useful?

Some people hate spoilers, I do too. You're playing a game for a couple of hours and you think you should join a forum and talk about it because you like it. You do it. You make a thread "who is your favourite character? mine is abc", some dude replies: "mine's abc, too, i hate it how they kill him in mission 8, though", your responce probably is "DUDE USE THE DAMN SPOILER TAG". He'll probably tell you he thought you had finished the game already. That's one thing, some people think that just because they've finished the game, everyone else has, too. Others just want to be smartasses or spoil stuff on purpose just so that they can spoil it for you (they probably had it spoiled for themselves too, I guess, and they think everyone should have it spoiled). Some other people don't care about spoilers, they can play a game where they know everything that's going to happen and they can play a game where they know nothing. Some times people actually want to be spoiled to see if the story of the game is any good. So anyway, which of the two types are you?
