Do any of you people believe in some kind of religion? if yes/no, then why? I don't believe in any religion I just believe in life and myself, I don't think there's a "higher power" for anything, but I respect people who devote their life to a god or a prophet, because that's what they think is right for them, and that's what makes them happy

yeah I know, I hate when christian people (no offence) come up to me and ask if I want to learn about them and when I say no because I don't believe that stuff they goo "oh why, that's wrong because we're right" it's cool they have beliefs as long as they don't force other people into their beliefs

to me it say in the bible thy shall not judge another. but most of the ones i either meet or know are fake people

Well, I'm a Muslim and I respect all religions except Hinduism. I don't get any of it with their monkey gods and everything. I don't hate the religion or anything, I just don't understand it. If I offended any Hindus, I'm sorry. You have the right to do what you want with your life and I don't have to influence you in any way.

Most likely a "lower power" would benefit more from making life forms then a "higher power"

I don't believe in "religion" because I believe that religion is a structure that men made to subdue other men, but I do believe in spirituality and faith.
I believe in a higher power, though I have trouble with the Christian/Judism version of God, but I do believe that there is a power greater then ourselves that loves us and wants us to be happy and content.
I know that a lot of people (particularly atheists) like to say that religion is a crutch, but I don't think so. I think that faith is very important, without faith or hope or whatever you want to call it human's would slip into a hopeless, unmotivated depression that we would be hard pressed to come out of.

I'm the same as you. Personally I dont belive in a religion as such, I would never crticise anyone who does though. That is there decision and who am I to stop them? They can do what they want with their lives and I can do what i want with mine. I dont mind listening to them as such. For example if i had a friend who was religious i would respect their comments and try to listen to their views remaining open minded. Although, I dislike hugely the people that try to force their religion onto me. I dont belive in a religion, thats me. They do, thats them. If they think im going to go to hell when i die well then they will just have to deal with that, it doesnt effect them but there is no need for them to go on about it so much. I hate the people that just turn up at my door and you have to shut the door on them. I'd feel rude doing that but when you have something to be doing and dont want to enter into a deep conversation about religion what else can you do??
