I just finish watching the first seson on demand and found the show very interesting. The show follows the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society as they seek to end Japanese whaling once and for all. They throw homemade stink bombs which makes the Japanese fleets stink for days. The Japanese kidnapped two of them and held them captive for three days. The Captain got shot on the finale, luckily he had a bullet proof vest on. The Japanese denies it. An all out war. If you haven't seen Whale Wars on Animal Planet the second season starts tomorrow night. If you have Comcast yo can watch the whole first season on demand. What do you think about commerical whaling?

Whales and dolphins are some of my fav animals, and I am a huge animal lover, I'm also 1/2 japanese.
I've been bullied before for being japanese, because "japanese people eat whale."
I've been to Japan to visit family almost every year in big cities, and I have never seen whale products for sale.
I'm pretty sure that the whalers on the show stay within the hunting limit, and I think those protesters are a little too extreme.
I'm all for the wellbeing of animals, but I also think it's natural for people to hunt sometimes.

This show is showing us that killing animals is not good you see whales are rare already if they Japanese will get them how about the next generation they cannot even appreciate or see what wale look like if Japanese will continue about this so i thank very much the sea shepherd because they are there to help the whale and to let the Japanese stop what they are doing hope someday they will realize what they are doing.

I've only seen the episode where Paul Watson gets shot. I loved the show and can't wait for the next season. I hate whale killing so I'll watch and cheer on the protesters. I am against commercial whaling and the seal hunt here in Canada. When will the world grow up and stop the murder.

I am currently watching the second season with lots of suspense. I watched most of the first season and thought it was great. I am so glad they're doing everything they can to save the whales. There is just no quick, painless ways to kill whales, and they are extremely smart and emotional beings. Their brains are bigger than our whole bodies. If I didn't have a child, I'd be volunteering to be part of the crew with them. I support them 110% and will continue to. GO SEA SHEPHERD!!!!!!!!!!!!
