Would you rather have a son or a daughter?

I would rather have a son because I'm a sporty person and I would someone to teach and play sports with. If I had a daughter, it would be harder because then, I had to protect her from guys and all that and that would just be a pain.

It does not make much difference to us whether we have a son or daughter. But if we are given a choice, my wife would like to have a son because, with daughter you have lots of responsibilities and to protect her from the evil of society.

I'm more than happy with my 2 healthy sons, but it would have been nice having a daughter.
At 50 i still wouldn't rule it out, my sons are 21 and 6, guess in a few more years i might let the ferret out for another run, haha!!

I wanted a daughter when I was pregnant which was 28 years ago now. I was lucky and I got a daughter. In fact I got 2 daughters. I had twins. I did eventually have a son also. So, my husband got a son that enjoyed sports as much as he does.

for me it doesn't matter if i have a son or daughter. kids' characters and abilities reflects on how their parents brought them up. for me it's always best to support them on whatever decisions they will make or path as long as they are happy and make them better persons. and never forget the values instilled in them by their parents.
