I went to the hospital for ultra-sonographic examination this morning. The tiny little thing moving in my belly was a sight to behold. My husband and I waited for this baby for 2 years and I wish I could share with him the joy I felt when I saw our baby on the computer screen. But then again he's far away and out of coverage area.I will send him the copy of the result though and I know he's excited as I am.
To all expecting couples out there, what did you feel at the sight of your little baby in the computer screen during the ultrasound???? I'd like to know the men's point of view....

wow,,, like three babies?!!!? that's super exciting!!! I was hoping to have twins because my family's side has twins and so with my husband's... I was also using fertility pills prior to pregnancy because I have PCOS. They said clomid (Clomiphene citrate) would increase the rate of twins in pregnancy. However, my baby is single... nevertheless... I feel so blessed to have this baby inside me.

I am not a man but I want to tell you that I was completely overwhelmed when I first heard her heartbeat...then seeing her for the first time - Oh my gosh! I just can't put it to words....there's joy, fear, anxiety and feelings of incompetence (for me anyways) how can I protect this little baby? It's quite an amazing experience I must say...my husband was speechless and just gazed at me like - omg we made THIS!

Wow!!! You must be a very good mom... I wish I have seen what would my husband's reaction when he sees our baby. Lucky you... But I still feel lucky... I was diagnosed with ovaries that produce small eggs, they were hard to fertilize but through medication and prayers we have this baby now and we're really thrilled to have him/her in our arms soon.... we don't know the gender yet... that's one thing that's keeping me excited too.

Just know that your husband is going to be awe-struck! They all are, its one of the few moments that we get to see men with raw emotions, not shielded by any tough outer coat...congratulations to you!! I have a son already and I just CANNOT wait to meet my little girl!!

Thanks Hanah... yes the feeling was super when I saw my baby moving. And yes , some couples would separate/annul/divorce because one is incapable of childbearing... though it should not be the only reason for getting married right? some people would just hop in marriage because they want to have kids... and if their partner is unable to give them a child they separate ways...and thereby not fulfilling their vows...for better or for worse...
