I was shocked to learn of the death of actor David Carradine. Who among us old enough to remember his TV show Kung Fu did not love it. You would find my family gathered around the set each week eagerly watching the latest episode. I know that he will be greatly missed by family and friends - and fans. My thoughts and prayers are with all of them. David came from a family of actors, and it is my understanding that he was very dedicated to his work.

Yes, it is so sad. And they are saying he was found in a motel room and that he hung himself. That seems strange for someone like him. I love the Kung Fu series and the movies. The last I remember seeing him in was The Kill Bill movies. Wasn't he married to Barbara Hershey? I wonder how she is doing? I am certainly shocked at the way he was found. I think it strange for such as he.

I think there was something else going on. Maybe he knew he was sick with something else and just wanted to end it. I can't believe he would do this either. I think there was something else going on. What a mystery!

In light of the latest reports, celticeagle, there was much more to Carradine than met the eye. If the reports are true it would make for an ignominious end to his life.

Do you have a link? I would like to read it. They had started something but didn't say much the last I read. Wondering.

I remember watching Kung Fu every Saturday night , right after Soul Train. Most of the time saturday Night was hamburgers and French Fries night. So I would eat dinner and watch Kung Fu.What a classic. I would have remembered David Only for that but I saw this gem called Kill Bill. He was great in it.He played the total opposite of Cain and it was great to see. And besides that, the last time i saw him, he was hosting Wild West Tech on the History channel. He would examine the tools of the wild west.

I agree, sarah, and it seems that he still had an awful lot to live for.

i never really watched the tv show, but my family does remember him because he was on the disney show 'lizzie mcguire' once. (lizzies dad was played by actor robert carradine) and when the show was on (during the early 2000s) we probably saw every episode at least 10 times. my daughters LOVED that show!
