Hey Mylotters. Besides what you read and respond to at Mylot.com, what is your favorite read? Presently, I am reading Stephen E. Ambrose's Book entitled, "D-Day" June 6, 1944. The Climatic Battle of the Second World War. What a book! This man went to as many survivors of that great battle to liberate France on both the Allied Side and the German Side. I love the history of the Second World War, yet, this battle really leaves a great many questions. How did we do it? How did we win the day? The answers are in this book. I also prefer a great Science Fiction, a Fantasy or book about politics. What a subject of late, huh?

You definitely should, it's Neil Gaiman so it's extremely intense but it's lovely and fun as well.

My latest read is Rob Bell. Someone purchased "Velvet Elvis" for me a few weeks ago and I read it in just a couple of days. I am presently reading "Jesus wants to save Christians." I am enjoying it very much. His writing style is very enjoyeable, but he makes you think with his questions.

The book "Jesus wants to save Christians," sounds really interesting. I became a Christian in 2003 after spending a life as a Conservative Jew. I love my heritage, yet, I am extremely grateful that I was led into a life of being a "completed Jew" as I have been termed by my church. I am not too familiar with Rob Bell. I am always looking for new reading. Thanks a bunch. By the way, have you ever heard of Lulu.com? This is a great place to find books self-published by others. I have two books that I have self-published through that site. Thanks for responding and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

The last book I read was "Invisible Monsters" by Chuck Palaniuk. He's my absolute fav author, and none of his books ever dissapoint me. It was a very twisted and pessimistic story, like his other works.

Interesting. I will have to check out the book. Not into too many pessimistic stories since I am searching for optimism and good times in these trying times that many of us are going through presently. Thanks for your response.
