Why people like to share their family videos with everyone else?

On Youtube, there were million of people published their honme made video on this website, to share their daily stuff with everyone else. Why would they like to do that? What is the mentality? For me, I rather only share with some good friends, but with everyone else. I felt too embarrassed; because everyone know what you did, and how you just look like.

Sharing videos is a good way to go if you'd like all your family and friends to be able to watch without clogging up their email servers with video files. As for letting everyone watch, why not? Maybe they'll make a new friend online. Maybe people will get a laugh out of the video, or maybe it will make them upset. You never know who will watch the video, and I'm sure most people don't care
