How long do you usually wait at line in a store?

So, from your experience to the regular grocery, or supermarket, such as Kroger, Publix, or food depot, how long do you usually wait at line? And how long do you think that you wait enough, and giving it up on waiting? Would you give it up with a cartful of grocery, and walk out? I usually wait around 4 minutes in a grocery. If I have to wait more than 20 minutes, I simply walk out there. What about you?

It depends on what store I am in. I usually wait a long time in food lion and not so long at farmers food. There are two main stores here. One of them you can get out very quickly the other one food lion it takes a long time. I dont know what it is in minutes. I hate long grocery store lines.

Twenty minutes? I don't think I'd ever have that much patience to wait that long. I think that the longest I've ever waited in a line was for ten minutes. I don;t think I've ever had a wait to buy groceries, thank goodness! My mom and dad usually do all the grocery shopping except for the little things like milk or bread or something. Besides, when I do buy those things, I go to the express lane or whatever you call it. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for sharing!

I avoid going during the busy times. I usually only wait a minute or two. If I get stuck going when they're busy I end up just dealing with it.
