Did you ever feel you were a living example of Murphy's Law?

They say bad things come in threes...did you ever have a time where Murphy's law seemed to rule and every time you turned around there was something new to contend with?! When was the last time it 'went to heck in the handbasket'? Lol. I haven't been here now for about 3 weeks (I think.) Not by choice, just because so many different things have happened. My computer got a virus that took me a week to figure out where it was hiding, until I figured out to try and get rid of it in safe mode. Then my eldest had a tubal pregnancy that put her into the hospital, and that didn't end well to say the least. My one dear aunt died unexpectedly, and my one cousin just found out she has breast cancer. We all had the flu for a week, and then right after that my one grandson (that lives here) had pink eye one week, 'slap' the next, and an ear infection the week after that. Then day before yesterday I got a letter from my isp that they're not going to have a local number to call anymore so I'm hunting for a new Internet connection. Hehehe, I'm beginning to feel like I'm living in that old tv show 'that was the week that was.' I now have around 1000+ emails I still haven't gotten around to yet. (If anybody has written, I'll eventually find it lol) So when was the last time life whapped you silly and you were saying 'good grief...what next?!"

Murphay's Law was created because the creator knew I was going to be born....and he needed a home for his creation!

Gee Whiz, you have been put thru the wringer. I am so sorry for all your troubles. Thats so sad about your daughter and your Aunt. I hope your cousin is able to beat te cancer and get better, hopfully it was caught early enough for treatment. I am happy to see that you survived and are back with us. I wish for sunny skies to come your way, no more black clouds hanging over you and your family.

I have not had as many issues as you have, but I do feel like life does that to me all of the time.I trust at least some of these things will get better.

Heck yeah!!!!I'm living it for the past 10 years.... no relief in sight grrrrrr I feel that murphy's laws were written specifically for us.
I'm so sorry it's happening to you and I hope it ends soon, because it's not the greatest feeling in the world.

Girl!
Let me tell you about yesterday! I accidently hit the off button on my alarm clock instead of snooze, so I was late getting up anyway. That didn't help anything. I quickly grabbed a shower and then went to pick up my friend Kim's daughter so we could go to the church and work on the Youth's rummage sale items.
We finally get there, and the first thing I do is lock my keys in my truck. Another one of the youth leaders called Popalock and they came out and got me into my vehicle.
I thought I was supposed to have a class at 9:30. So at 9, I left the church and headed to school. I get there and the classroom is empty and dark. I go down stairs to the program office and ask Krystal...who laughs and tells me that the GRE training class is at 1:00 p.m.! Great! So, she ends up giving me credit for the class anyway so I dno't have to come all the way back out there.
I go back to the church and work for a little while, and everyone stops to eat. I go and get my lunch and as I'm eating my brother calls to see if my daughter is at home. His 4 year old has come down with the chicken pox and they are making her leave day care. So Lauren goes and gets Isabella and takes her home.
I get home after hours of sifting through clothes, toys, household items and books for more than 7 hours. We are all tired and cranky and hot. I get home and start dinner for us, put a load of clothes in the washing machine, and start back into the livingroom to pick up the flip flops that I had accidently left in there last night. As I bent over, my back caught, the leg went numb and down I went.
So now, I have a huge goose egg sized knot on my forehead, a bruised nose and black eye that is swollen nearly shut.
