Examination and Music, what's the connection?

Whenever an exam is fast approaching, students much prepare for it. But, often times, students tend to do the "11th hour thing", which is to study the night before the exam... "I'm already immune to that", others proclaimed. For others, especially first timers, they would gain big "eyebugs" and other stress apperance. Students try to condition then their minds for the exams, doing like getting sleep for the few minutes before the exam. However, other students do listen to music using their mp3's and ipods and mp4 players. Question: Is listening to music in an examination okay and not for you? thanks.

Personally I can't listen to music and study properly at the same time. I have to do one or the other because my brain can't concentrate on both at the same time. Some other people might be better at 'multi-tasking' than I am, so I guess it's ok for them.
