I'm a movie lover and there are dozens of theaters around me to choose from. There are so many nice theaters that I even managed to create a Top 5 list at one time. Well, I'm going "up north" for vacation this year and I asked in a forum for them to tell me a nice movie theater for one of our slow days. The response I got was a theater that looked more like a place I would see a play, not a movie. It was HUGE, one big room with theater-style seating like I would see at a play.
I did a little further research and found that only 1 theater within miles of the city had stadium seating. Here I am so used to stadium seating that I can't imagine anything else. Yet up north they hardly even know what "stadium seating" means.
So it made me curious about the rest of the world! Do you have a fantastic movie going experience? Do you have stadium seats (do you know what stadium seats are?). Are your chairs comfy, your screens large and your sound fantastic?
Let me know where you are from and if you have a lot of good choices fr movie theaters or just a few choices, or maybe even no choices.
I'm from Southeast MI and we have TONS of choices!

I live in a fairly large city in Colorado. We have maybe two really nice theaters, 4 or 5 not-too-bad theaters, one Indie theater, and one second run theater. The bigger theaters have really good seating and large screens, but they're waaaaay too expensive for me. The only theater I ever go to is the second run theater, because movie tickets are only $1.50, or .75 on Tuesdays. Not the prettiest theater in town, but much friendlier on my budget.
