72 year old actor David Carradine, best known as the main character Kuwait Change Cain, from "Kung Fu" one of my all time favorite shows growing up, has been found dead. Carradine was found dead Thursday in Thailand. The 72-year-old actor appeared to have hanged himself in a suite at the luxury Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel, said Lt. Teerapop Luanseng, the officer responsible for investigating the death. "I can confirm that we found his body, naked, hanging in the closet," Teerapop said. He said police were investigating and suspected suicide, though one of his managers questioned that theory. "All we can say is, we know David would never have committed suicide," said Tiffany Smith, of Binder & Associates, his management company. "We're just waiting for them to finish the investigation and find out what really happened. He really appreciated everything life has to give ... and that's not something David would ever do to himself." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090604/ap_on_en_ot/as_obit_carradine;_ylt=ApgeoVpgTcdHzWbTPoj8txl0fNdF Carradine had flown to Thailand last week and began work on "Stretch" two days before his death, Smith said. He had several other projects lined up after the action film, which was being directed by Charles De Meaux with Carradine in the lead. this also raises suspicion with me if this was an actual suicide. but regardless, another great icon is no longer with us. Rest In Peace David.........your journey has reached it's end grasshopper.

Awww, how sad! I don't know what else to say but I have to write more than "aww how sad" or someone will report me for not having a quality response.. so just play along and think that I am rattling off facts and figures and all that other mess of stuff that I don't know about cause I'm not intelligent. I mean, heck! I just learned my left from my right a few years back, for God's sake! so here is where I am faking all kinds of response about nothing and some other things that I don't know... great discussion, nice meeting you happy mylotting over and out! :) *curtsy*

People can report us for not having a 'quality' response? Go figure! Who's to decide what's quality or not? (Your response looks great to me ... and now that I look at mine, it DEFINITELY ain't quality!)

I dunno..... to feel important, I guess! *shrugs* makes no sense to me! :) Seriously Pye! I know I had one of each but I have to think about it pretty hard when someone says.... TURN LEFT HERE! lol! i would say that investigation is needed to find out. Probably his assistant knows more that he speaks...the whole story sounds not real....more likely he was killed...I am sure investigation is going to find out... Sad that next Icon is gone...

What could make a man like David Carridine commit this vile act? I just can't believe it! About the only thing I could believe is that he found out he had some fatal disease and decided to do this. That would be the only thing. But, they are saying he was found with his hands tied behind him and with his genitals tied up as well. What is the sense in this? There just doesn't seem to be any.

I am sad to hear of this news. He was one of the icons of the 70's and his character in the kung fu series brought a realism which was idolized by millions. Sad.

Safe journey, grasshopper. I'm guessing you won't be snatching the pebble from the hand anymore ... *sigh*
