Is having a typical 9-5er job passé or what!

For those who work in the cubicles; you office grunts and micro-managers know who you are. This could even include those who have a job where it is the same 9-5 lull, day in and day out. Anyway, my question to you peoples is, how do you do it? I mean, I admire the hell out of you people...like marathoners with your remarkable endurance for what could be considered to be the least enjoyable thing to do.

Have you tried it? I suggest you do. I did such work for more than 8 years and I can say there are lots of moments I enjoyed immensely what I was doing in my office table. I also loved having small chats with my office mates, the adrenalin of beating deadlines, of doing better than the previous accomplishments I made. I really believe that there is no boring job. It is up to the person to look for enjoyment in anything that he does whether he is force to be in such work.
